After a hard day’s work as a slope manager at Saint Colomban des Villards, Simon puts on his ski boots to make magnificent turned wooden objects. His cabinet-making skills and sense of aesthetics mean that he produces decorative objects, souvenirs, tableware and grand interior decorations combining wood, resin and natural stones…

Woodturning is one of the few manual activities that calls on dexterity, imagination, the heart and chance. Thanks to the precision of both the hand and the eye, objects are created from pieces of wood carefully chosen by me.

He chooses his wood carefully, favouring local species that he mixes with resin or stone.
