Les Bottières

A small village on a balcony on the sunny side of the mountain at an altitude of 1300 metres, the resort of Les Bottières promises you a soothing mountain holiday. An authentic mountain village, the resort is a haven of peace, offering a return to your roots. It is made up of peaceful chalets and offers 6 ski runs for beginners. As the gateway to the Sybelles® ski area and the La Toussuire sector, it cultivates its outdoor spirit with ski touring and snowshoeing.

Introduction

Les Bottières ranges in altitude from 1300 to 2400m. Its beginners' area has 6 runs. 2 ski lifts take you up to La Toussuire in the Grand Truc sector and then to the whole of the Sybelles® ski area.

The snow front

New

Come and have fun on the toboggan run on the snow front, behind La Corbacière restaurant. Young and old alike will have fun on this après-ski area, facing the panoramic views of the Maurienne.

The red forest track at La Chavonnerie. At the arrival point of the Marmottes ski lift, the descent crosses to the right through the mountain pasture and then glides gently through the fir trees. A compulsory picnic break!

Diverse and Varied Activities in Les Bottières

In winter, Les Bottières is primarily about skiing. As the gateway to the Sybelles ski area via La Toussuire in the Grand Truc sector, the resort offers some of the best slopes for beginners.

There are 2 drag lifts and 4 slopes, ranging from green to red, including the Chavonnerie, a red forest trail that lets you glide among the fir trees and enjoy the best picnic spots!

The more adventurous can explore a ski touring route that promises exceptional panoramas upon arrival.

You can also enjoy the sledding track located on the snow front, behind the restaurant La Corbacière. Both the little ones and the adults will have fun in this area after skiing, facing the Maurienne panoramas.

Finally, for nature enthusiasts, what could be better than a snowshoe hike on one of our 5 marked trails? In Les Bottières, there is something for every taste and skill level!

After a day of skiing, come and recharge on the large sunny terrace of La Corbacière. You’ll find a wide selection of dishes including salads, pizzas, waffles…

For Savoyard specialties, head to Le Grenier. This typical mountain restaurant, like an alpine chalet, offers hearty and delicious local cuisine.

To rent your equipment (skis, snowboards, snowshoes…), visit Lionel Sport as soon as you arrive!

Every Tuesday during the February school holidays, starting at 5:30 PM, the snow front of Les Bottières comes alive with music, hot wine, and light snacks. It’s the perfect opportunity to share a convivial moment with the Festivities Committee!

The Montagnicimes Tourist Office offers a treasure hunt that lets you explore the village while having fun. Your first challenge? Pick up the game booklet at the Tourist Office and discover the story of Charlock, the detective cat tasked with finding the culprit who attempted to steal the gypsum statue…

You can also meet the company Les Nuages Passent, who introduce you to the “poémomètres” of Marion Lestang. She unrolls her spectacular writings of tales and poems and narrates them to you in the warmth of your home or in her workshop, facing the Aiguilles.
