Holidays in the mountains are symbolic of reunions with family or friends, an opportunity for everyone to discover savoyard specialties or why not escape through the taste buds. We have tested for you 6 good restaurants that we invite you to discover during your next vacation in Les Sybelles.

La Toussuire – Restaurant Le Sopar

The restaurant Le Sopar located in the upper part of the resort of La Toussuire offers a bistronomic atmosphere with home made and local products. Philippe, the manager, goes to great lengths to welcome you and offer you local and fine cuisine, all associated with the wine most suited to the dish chosen. Example the casserole of snails with parsley butter, spinach cream, oyster mushrooms; snails produced in the village of Fontcouverte, just below the resort

Les Bottières – Restaurant Le Grenier

In a mountain ambiance made of wood, old skis and agricultural tools, the Grenier restaurant offers many Savoyard specialties for exemple Terres Cuites, large stewed gratins made up of potatoes, onions, bread, mushrooms and bacon. Let’s go to taste in Les Bottières !

Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves – Restaurant Le Hors Piste

Meet at the restaurant Le Hors piste in the upper part of the resort of St Sorlin d’Arves where Olivier and Vincent offer you a sybel’miche in several flavors. Molded loaf of bread made by the village baker, this container holds a fondue with multiple blends of cheeses according to your desires: Vacherin, Beaufort, Comté, mushrooms… accompanied by local charcuterie, you eat the container as much as the content. All in a cozy lounge atmosphere or outside in a small heated cabin for 4.

Le Corbier – Restaurant Le Buddha Ski

Next to the La Vadrouille ski lift and the start of the Mont-Corbier chairlift, this restaurant located on the slopes of Le Corbier offers a musical atmosphere as soon as you arrive on the terrace with an electro lounge atmosphere. Damien likes to work in a musical atmosphere and offer quite atypical dishes such as the Black Buddha burger, a burger with black bread tinted with vegetable charcoal accompanied by good local red meat and pepper sauce. You will then be at your best to hurtle down the black Jonquille slope! (freeride area)

Saint-Jean-d’Arves – Restaurant La Grenouillère

Located in the heart of the hamlet of La Chal in the resort St Jean d’Arves, just in front of the slopes and the majestic Aiguilles d’Arves that you can admire from the large south-facing terrace, the restaurant La Grenouillère in Saint Jean d’Arves is a family adventure. The chef in the kitchen concocts you a homemade foie gras, a beech wood-smoked salmon by himself to Savoyard specialties made with Beaufort cheese from the Arves cooperative such as the supreme of guinea fowl with Beaufort risotto and mushrooms.

Saint-Colomban-des-Villards – Restaurant Les Myrtilles

Discovery moment at Les Myrtilles restaurant in St Colomban des Villards in Marie-France’s restaurant. In a small hamlet near the village church, a vaulted room awaits you to taste the Soppa Grassa, a bread soup with wine, cheese and a beef cheek with carrots or the Matouille, THE specialty of St Col’, a kind of aligot made of potatoes, tomme, fried onions
